All is so peaceful at Shepherd’s Keep – each baby is thriving – even our little HIV positive boys and girls are doing well.
Abby, our cerebral palsied little angel is a joy and sings and talks despite us being told she is blind and deaf – she focuses when she catches your eye and talks excitedly. We continue to pray and are so encouraged by her progress.
Philisande is the king of the castle! We’ve watched him grow and thrive and he weighs nearly 10kg and so will soon undergo reconstructive surgeries on his colon if his team of doctors are happy with his progress.
A local company, Blendcor, has blessed us with the most beautiful shelving in our storerooms and spent 2 days sanding and repainting our cots as well as providing a special lunch for all our staff– thank you Blendcor !
A busy morning was enjoyed by all when Grosvenor Girls visited with teacher, Cheryl Schravesande and Captain Le Roux from Brighton Beach Police Station. Thoughtful gifts for our babies made it a special time for all. Captain Le Roux
has since been dropping in with more gifts, through her fundraising efforts – thank you for all that time and effort.
To all our other precious donors, we couldn’t do without you and neither could the babies. Thank you Nurse Candice for evamping the front garden and to her family for their rose bushes and time spent gardening! Each donation means we don’t have to find the cash for that item.
